Mrs. Mary A. (Molly) Hamm died Friday morning at her home, 312 Mill St. She was 85 and had been in failing health for the past year. She was born Sept. 23, 1878, at Bellflower, Ill. And was married Nov. 5, 1899 to Clarence W. Hamm. She came to Montgomery County in 1918 from Champaign, Ill. And was a member of the Youngs Chapel Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Sarah Hearn of Crawfordsville; a son, Owen Hamm, also of Crawfordsville; and two sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Sturm of Cody, Wyo. And Mrs. Lillah Sparks of Aurora, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died Nov. 20, 1947, and by a daughter, brother and sister. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Hunt & Sons Funeral Home. Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Rantoul, Ill. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.
